CASA-EP is calling on the broader community to make sure children are safe. Here’s how to learn more or report suspected abuse or neglect:
- If a child is in immediate danger, call 9-1-1.
- Anyone concerned for a child can report abuse or neglect. Contact local law enforcement and call the WV Child Abuse Hotline: 1-800-352-6513.
- Contact the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline by text, phone, or chat at childhelp.org — including if you’re afraid you might hurt someone.
- For abuse prevention information, visit preventchildabuse.org.
- Parents and caregivers who need support: call the National Parent Helpline at 1-855-427-2736 or visit nationalparenthelpline.org.
