Martinsburg, WV, March 3, 2025 — CASA of the Eastern Panhandle is proud to announce its participation in the 2025 Unity Campaign, an annual fundraiser powered by the United Way. This collaborative effort aims to support area nonprofits that provide essential health, education, basic needs, and financial stability programs to individuals and families in the Eastern Panhandle.
The Unity Campaign, now in its sixth year, runs from March 1 to March 15, 2025. During this period, donors can contribute to participating agencies, with 100% of their contributions going directly to the nonprofit organization of their choice. Notably, there are no administrative fees assessed to funding distributions, and a portion of all donations will be matched through an incentive fund, amplifying the impact of each gift.
CASA of the Eastern Panhandle is dedicated to advocating for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect, ensuring they have a safe and permanent home. By participating in the Unity Campaign, CASA aims to raise critical funds to recruit, train, and support volunteer advocates who serve these vulnerable children in Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties.
“CASA of the Eastern Panhandle is thrilled to be participating in [the United Way’s Unity Campaign],” said Michelle Sudduth, Executive Director of CASA of the Eastern Panhandle. “If you have a heart for kids, if you want to support our community’s most vulnerable children – those that have experienced abuse and neglect and are in the foster care system – let me tell you, we make an amazing impact on these kid’s lives. I encourage you to learn more about our organization and and consider a gift during this time period!”
