CASA of the Eastern Panhandle is proud to welcome Sarah Arzt as our new Community Outreach Coordinator. With a lifelong dedication to supporting children and families, Sarah brings a unique combination of experience, compassion, and community spirit to her role.

Though she admits she wasn’t actively looking for CASA, she says she’s “really glad” the opportunity found her. For years, Sarah has been a familiar face in the community—volunteering with schools, cheering for kids in activities, and tutoring students one-on-one. “Every kid needs something different, every kid needs support, and every kid deserves to be celebrated,” she shared.

At CASA-EP, Sarah’s focus is to expand outreach efforts across Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan Counties. She’ll work closely with staff and volunteers to spread the word about CASA’s mission, support community events, and connect potential advocates and mentors with the opportunities to make an impact.

“Now that my own kids are out into the world, this is one more chance for me to support those kids who need us,” Sarah said.

We’re thrilled to have Sarah on board and excited for the positive impact her dedication will bring to the children and families we serve.
