As CASA of the Eastern Panhandle looks ahead to 2026, we are grateful for the leadership, service, and commitment of our Board of Directors—past, present, and future. Our Board plays a vital role in guiding the organization, supporting our mission, and ensuring that CASA-EP remains a strong and steady advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

Honoring Our Outgoing Board Members

We extend heartfelt thanks to Rosa Clark, Dr. Mary Alvaro, and Brad Snowden, who are concluding their service on the Board. Each has contributed valuable insight, time, and leadership to advance CASA-EP’s work across the Eastern Panhandle.

Welcoming New Board Members

As we turn the page to a new year, we are pleased to welcome Patty Bain Bachner, Morgan Hayslette, Jenna Kesecker, Chris Luttrell, and Kakie McMillan to the CASA-EP Board of Directors. Each brings unique perspectives, professional experience, and a shared commitment to supporting vulnerable children in our community.

2026 Board Officers

We are also excited to announce the new slate of officers who will help lead CASA-EP in 2026:

  • Kim Himes – President
  • Alison Cox – Vice President
  • Sara Cohick – Secretary
  • Amy Enterline – Treasurer (continuing her role)

We would also like to offer a special and sincere thank you to Rev. G.T. Schramm, our outgoing Board President. Rev. Schramm’s leadership has been marked by thoughtful guidance, deep compassion, and a steadfast belief in CASA’s mission. His dedication has helped shape the organization and strengthen its impact for children and families, and we are profoundly grateful for his service.  Rev. Schramm will stay on as a Board member on the Executive Committee.

This leadership team will work closely with staff, volunteers, and community partners to ensure continuity, stability, and growth as CASA-EP continues to expand its programs and advocacy efforts.

Looking Forward

The year ahead holds great promise. We are deeply thankful to all who serve and look forward to working together to ensure that every child in the court system has a dedicated advocate by their side.
