CASA of the Eastern Panhandle is growing, and we are looking for the right person to grow with us.

We are currently hiring a Volunteer Supervisor to support our program in Morgan County. This is a full-time, in-person position for someone who is passionate about child welfare and ready to play a meaningful role in how we serve children across the Eastern Panhandle.

What This Role Is About

CASA volunteers are trained community members who advocate for children involved in abuse and neglect cases. They build relationships, gather information, and present recommendations to the court focused on each child’s safety and long-term stability.

The Volunteer Supervisor is the person behind those volunteers. In this role, you will supervise up to 25 advocates and their active cases, provide ongoing guidance and support, review and edit court reports, and attend hearings when needed. You will help ensure every volunteer stays engaged, informed, and effective in their work.

This role also includes a community-facing dimension. You will assist with volunteer recruitment, represent CASA-EP at local events, and help build the partnerships that strengthen our program over time.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who leads with purpose. The ideal candidate has a background in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or a related field, along with experience supervising professional or volunteer staff. Strong written and verbal communication skills, good judgment, and cultural sensitivity are essential.

Just as important is a genuine commitment to the children and families we serve. This work matters, and the people who do it best understand that from the start.

Position Details

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Morgan County, WV. Compensation is $23 to $24 per hour, with a full benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) with matching, and a flexible schedule.

Applicants must be 21 or older, have access to a personal vehicle, and be able to pass criminal and protective services background checks.
